What’s New for Semester 2!

A new year, a new semester and lots of new things happening in the Union!

Bop Suggestion Page

The Bop is the UKs longest running student club night and it makes 601 the place to go on a Friday. Offering all the classics, cheesy throwbacks, sing-alongs, and feel-good anthems from across the decades that everyone can enjoy!

Last semester we focussed on the music, this semester we want your thoughts.

We want you to shape your Friday night so our Bop suggestion page is back! Want a Brat BOP or more a Lady Gaga BOP kinda person – make your suggestion and let’s see who votes for it!

The Democracy Review

A key proposed change from the Democracy Review restructures the sabbatical and officer roles to increase accessibility and engagement.  All sabbatical roles titles will change to better reflect their positions and the Director of Events and Services role will be removed.  As a result, our elections will look a little different this year!

Wait, did someone say elections?! It'll be here before we know, have you thought about standing for a position yet?
