Your role
The Campus Larder, launched in 2023, has been a flagship project in the Association and University’s efforts to tackle acute cost of living pressures on students. We are now looking to appoint a part-time student assistant to help us develop and maintain this initiative in the 2024-25 academic year.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities of Post-holder
- Alongside relevant staff and sabbatical officers, be responsible for recruiting volunteers to support campus larder activity. Organise a rota and communicate this to all concerned.
- Regularly review campus larder stock and provide an order sheet for staff to re-stock.
- Arrange and publicise an appropriate system to enable students to access the larder, either by appointment or drop-ins.
- Work with the Association President and relevant staff to publicise the initiative to service users.
- Contribute to further development of the Campus Larder project.
