Welcome to the St Andrews Salsa and Bachata Society!

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to take your dancing a bit further, our society is the perfect place to start (or continue) your journey into the vibrant world of Salsa and Bachata. No experience or partner required—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to have fun!

What We Offer

Weekly Beginner Classes

Join us every Tuesday from 5:30 - 7:30 PM for beginner-level classes that are designed to get you moving and feeling confident on the dance floor. Our classes are relaxed, friendly, and inclusive. You don't need any prior dance experience to join—just come as you are!

Weekly Intermediate Classes

We're thrilled to be adding intermediate classes to the weekly calendar this semester! They will generally run on Thursdays from 5:30 - 7:30 PM (sometimes on Fridays - take a look at our class calendar for more info). If you're confident and no longer challenged by beginner-level classes, come along and bring your dancing even further!

Social Dance Nights

Beyond our weekly classes, we're all about building a welcoming community where everyone feels safe and comfortable. We regularly organize events where you can practice your moves, meet new people, and dance the night away. Our socials are open to everyone, and while alcohol is welcome, it's certainly not required. The beauty of Salsa and Bachata lies in the connection, rhythm, music and joy that come with dancing itself!
