At JazzWorks, we love jazz and all music that surrounds it, so we get together to play it at any occasion.
Our core is found in our Thursday evening jams, where musicians from town, student or local, get together to play, creating an amazing atmosphere which attracts many non-musicians too, who join us to hang out and enjoy the music. Come along to the Student Union to join our jam from 9pm - 12pm. No sign up needed, just come up to the stage and introduce yourself!
The jams are also a great focus group of musicians in general, with musicians from orchestras, big bands and choirs showing up, as well as people from student bands playing soul, indie and funk among others, so it's a great place to start getting into the St Andrews music scene. We also play paid gigs at many events throughout town, to which we send our keenest and best musicians. We regularly play at some of the biggest balls of the year, such as Welly and Christmas balls!
