Effective Altruism

Effective Altruism is a society that is focused on answering one simple question: how can we use our resources to help others the most? In order to achieve this, we focus on using evidence and careful analysis in order to determine the most impactful ways we can use our time and money to do good in the world.

We focus on helping students to choose high-impact careers, through mentorship programmes and discussion groups; we also offer opportunities to discuss ideas at pub socials, community dinners, and student-led lectures.
