Have you ever heard of 'halušky', 'guláš' or 'kapor a zemiakový šalát'?

The Czech and Slovak Society invites you to discover these two separate, yet very alike countries through our cuisine, traditions, languages and much more. We organize fun events (lots of food and laughter included) for our fellow Czechs and Slovaks as well as for anyone interested in our culture.

All are welcome! We do our best to bring you diverse events every week: pub socials with our "favourite" Kozel beer; cooking events where we introduce traditional dishes; movie nights showing our Czechoslovak cinematography; and cultural events such as our popular Christmas dinner and Easter lunch.

Becoming a member is easy, just join us at the Freshers' Fayre or any other event we organize and get your membership for just 4 pounds. This will guarantee you free entry to most of our events and a discounted price for our cooking events!
