Volunteer of the Month

Do you know any exceptional volunteers within the Student's Association? We would love to hear about them! Nominations for Volunteer of the Month are sent out to officer, society and subcommittee email inboxes midway through the month and then the nominations are discussed and a winner decided a few days after the form closes.

Any student who volunteers within a Student's Association managed project is eligible to be nominated (think if it can be logged through the volunteer portal, then it's eligible for recognition through this award!). We are not accepting self-nominations for the time being. The nominated work does not exclusively have to have been done in the month of the award, we want to recognise anyone who has made a substantial contribution during the relevant academic year.

Winners get recognition on our social media and website, a personalised certificate, and some special edition volunteer stickers. They are also more than welcome to include their award on their CV or LinkedIn!

Volunteer of the Semester

Volunteer of the Semester takes place towards the end of the first Semester. Nominations for Volunteer of the Semester are sent out to officers in December and then the winner is discussed by the Executive (Sabbatical) Team and decided before the start of Semester 2.

Any student who volunteers within a Student's Association managed project is eligible to be nominated. We are not accepting self-nominations for the time being. The nominated work in this case must have been done during the relevant semester, however we would still love to hear about any other successes in your nomination.
