One Union Awards

Introducing the One Union Awards!

On Saturday the 19th of April we’re bringing together the Student Excellence AwardsClass Rep (EduRep) Awards and Society Awards into one unified celebration! This exciting new initiative is all about enhancing the recognition of our amazing students and creating an awards experience to reflect this.

Why are we changing our awards ceremonies?

  • Stronger Community & Visibility – By combining these awards, we shine a spotlight on the collective achievements of our students across all areas of university life, fostering unity and pride!
  • Enhanced Experience – A larger, more prestigious event means a truly unforgettable experience for students and the wider university community.
  • Best Practice – We hope to share the range and diversity of the work our volunteers do and where their priorities might overlap.

From our class reps to volunteers, societies, and campaigners – we want to celebrate the diverse and incredible students that make St Andrews such a special place.

What Are the Award Catagories?

Know a society that helped you discover a new passion? Know an academic representative who went above and beyond to address an issue in your school? Perhaps the work of a volunteer made you feel incredibly supported during a trying time at university. If there is any student you know that deserves recognition to all they got up to outside academics, you can nominate them for one of our awards.

Student Excellence Awards
Celebrating the students who go above and beyond! Whether it's through leadership, inclusivity, or making a real impact in the student community, these awards recognise those who truly embody the spirit of St Andrews.

EduRep Awards
Our Education Representatives play a huge role in shaping the academic experience. These awards honour those who have gone the extra mile to support their peers, amplify student voices, and make positive changes to learning and teaching.

Society Awards
Societies bring our student community to life! From incredible events to creating welcoming spaces for all, these awards celebrate the outstanding contributions of societies and the people who make them happen.
