Welcome to BESS, the St Andrews Students' Association Shop.

Bess is not named after a little old lady, nor does it bear any relation to the honourable British Elbow and Shoulder Society.  Rather, the moniker derives from the Book Exchange and Stationery Store, opened in? by?.  Today we specialise in selling top quailty University of St Andrews branded clothing and gifts through the shop and online, as well as providing the town's best selection of stationery, pens and cards in store.  You can find the shop on the ground floor of the Students' Association building on Market Street, right in the hub of St Andrews.  Bess is run by the Students' Association of the Univeristy of St Andrews, Scottish Registered Charity no. SCO19883.  By buying from us you will not only get a unique quality product and excellent service, but as all profits go to the Association you will be supporting our important welfare work,  providing funding for societies and student representation- see http://www.yourunion.net for more details.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped.

TO PROCESS YOUR ORDER WE REQUIRE THE CW2 NUMBER. THIS IS THE LAST 3 DIGITS ON THE SIGNATURE STRIP OF YOUR CARD.
