It may be summer, but the Union is still open and working for you - read more below about what we have on offer for the 1,000+ students still in St Andrews. And remember, every penny spent in the Union is immediately ploughed back into the student body

Open till 1am Monday - Thursday, and 2am on Friday and Saturday, we're still the longest-opening bar in St Andrews. What's more, the great drinks deals from the semester are STILL going - that means pints of Tennents, bottles of Becks and Stella, and Bacardi Breezers for only £1.50, and Gaymers Pear Cider for only £2 - as well as everything else at great prices in the biggest bar in St Andrews.

On Thursday nights, the Bar is the new home of the famous Cellar Pub Quiz, as well as regular events hosted by the Postgraduate Society and open to all students - come along for quizzes, live acts, and much more.

On top of that, there's the town's largest gallery of pool tables - American and British styles - for only 50p a game, alongside the darts and the arcade games. If you're in the mood for a sesh of classic pub games, head down the Union and play longer - for cheaper.

Open 9am-5pm six days a week, BESS is the one-stop shop for University-branded stationery & clothing, as well as University & town souvenirs - plus confectionery, soft drinks and the ice-creams that a temperamental St Andrews summer often requires.
